Wow. Welcome to the last week of the program, my dears! You have come so far in the last two months, and Peter and I couldn’t be prouder of the work you’ve done. How do you feel?! Stronger? More toned? More knowledgeable about your body and your health?
Peter and I were chatting this weekend about the end of boot camp and about how successful you all have been, and I loved his take on the concept of success, which he said can come in many forms and vary from person to person.
“Increased strength, weight loss, more energy, or even improved confidence and happiness – whatever their results may be, I hope it has brought them happiness and a feeling of accomplishment,” he said.
For the last week of the program, we want you to give it your absolute all so that you truly can finish out these eight weeks feeling accomplished. Conveniently enough, my wedding is this coming Saturday, so you know I’ll be working my butt off right alongside you all as usual!
As always, this final week provides circuit exercises for three days of the week, and then you’ll be supplementing with cardio another three days. Personally, I’ve been LOVING Pure Barre’s new cardio-centric class, Pure Empower, because you never stop moving, but you’re still doing some weighted exercises. I highly recommend checking out a class if you have a studio in your area!
To add a fun new recipe to your meal plan, which I’m sure is a no-brainer at this point, I’ve got a delicious coconut curry chicken for you! I made this for the fiancé last week and he ate the leftovers for DAYS. I was like, “excuse me, that was supposed to be my lunch all week!” Luckily, it was easy to make extra.
With boot camp coming to an end, we’ve been getting a lot of questions about how you all can keep up your momentum. “Getting started is almost always the hardest part,” Peter said. “So now that you’ve got that out of the way, start small and don’t overthink it…Find a program that you enjoy and will keep you motivated enough to stick with it.”
You could give barre class a try, do Pilates or yoga, find a jogging group, or nail down an accountability buddy who will work out with you at the gym a few times a week. The options are endless, and now that you’ve done this, you know you can handle anything!
“Health and fitness is a marathon throughout your life,” Peter mused. “Not a sprint that needs to be completed in the next couple weeks. So find something that you enjoy, plan it into your schedule 4 to 6 times per week, and make small, attainable goals that will help you stick with it.”
And if you really feel like you’ll be at a loss without Peter’s guidance, you can sign up for online training with him here!
So what does the future hold for our Bachelorette heartthrob?
“Right now I’m trying to really focus my efforts on my business, WORTH Personal Training, here in Madison. With all the craziness that has ensued since the show, my business has taken a bit of a back seat. But now that it’s starting to slow down again, I can get back to building my business.”
But Peter, what if we don’t live in Madison and we need to see you on a regular basis?!
“Don’t be surprised if you see my face pop up in your city soon!” He assured me. “Keep an eye on my social media for our live, in-person boot camps, hopefully coming to a city near you very soon!”
Lastly, Peter wanted to say this to all our beautiful, fit brides:
“Thank you all so very much for joining this bridal boot camp! Best of luck and lots of love for you on your big day! I hope it’s everything you ever dreamed it to be and that you absolutely love the way you feel in your dress after this program! Sending all my love, Peter.”
Heart melted. What a guy. If his words aren’t enough to keep you motivated, I don’t know what will do the trick. As for me, I plan to keep doing the workouts that Peter sends over (seriously, look into online training with him!) so that I can look great for my honeymoon in December!
XO,
So much love to you all,
Molly
