From the Bride... My husband and I met in college, remained friends but didn't start dating until almost 15 years later! It was our love of pizza, nerdy-ness, and our creative businesses that allowed us to connect and fall in love. It was only a matter of months that we knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together building a family and creating new adventures. We got engaged in London and when dreaming up our wedding, we both knew that we wanted an intimate affair that would be truly unique and special to us. The Mission Inn Hotel was the perfect venue close to home with gorgeous architecture and amazing food. We set the date and invited 25 of our closest family and friends for an intimate Sunday ceremony and brunch style reception. Our color palette was gold and gray (our favorite colors) throughout all our wedding details including my gold wedding dress! I designed my own flowers which included lush cream blooms that included peonies, ranunculus, and garden roses. Our decor consisted of gray textures and metallics to bring the monochromatic look together effortlessly. We decided on a family style table and seating in order to be able to converse and feel close with all our loved ones. Our wedding truly matched our aesthetic and style and because we kept it simplistically beautiful, we were all able to fully enjoy and appreciate our big day.
