2-4 small portions of Alaskan, wild-caught salmon | 2 Tbsp olive oil |
Salt and pepper to taste |
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees

Heat an oven-safe skillet on the stove over high heat for 4-5 minutes

While the skillet is getting nice and hot, rub both sides of each piece of salmon with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper

When the pan is hot, place the salmon in the pan with the skin side facing up; let the salmon sear for 5-6 minutes until the pan side of the fish is crispy and golden brown

Flip the salmon over so that the skin side is down and place the skillet in the oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked all the way through

Remove from the oven and enjoy with a large serving of broccoli or green beans! Low carb and DELICIOUS!
