The only thing more gorgeous than an elopement at the New York City Public Library is that insanely stunning Marchesa gown. It’s a show stopper and when paired with simple, elegant details crafted by Query Events including the prettiest of paper goods by Cleggraphy Designs, this inspiration will have you craving a minimalist approach to saying “I Do”. Fall in love with this marbled gem captured by Callie Manion right here.
When you get the chance to shoot at the New York Public Library in a Marchesa gown, you pack your bags and get on the earliest flight out of Dallas! The design concept was really centered around the architecture of both the amazing front steps of the NYPL and the caped Marchesa gown. Keeping color to a minimum was vital in not overpowering the existing features – we opted for various shades of gray to mimic the marbled elements of the building and added a pop of black in our stationary pieces by Cleggraphy Design. Unfortunately we had a beautiful vintage car that cancelled less than an hour before their scheduled arrival. The only solution was to pull the inner New Yorker out of this Texan girl and hail a good old fashioned taxi! Although not the original plan, I’m thrilled at the truthfulness in those images! What a wonderful experience and dream come true to have this opportunity to work with so many amazing vendors!
