The Desert Meets the Sea in This Wedding Inspiration Session

The coast of Tainan, Taiwan is truly a unique landscape – it is one of the few places where the desert meets the sea. Inspired by the sandy expanse and the ocean view, Allen Tsai Photography and Jill Loves Lace along with a team of amazing vendors created a tablescape and bridal style that complemented both settings, and the result is truly breathtaking. From Allen Tsai Photography... Situated on the coast of Tainan, Taiwan, we were inspired by this unique landscape that featured desert sand dunes with an ocean view. Our amazing stylist and florist, Jill Loves Lace, decided to utilize bright yellow hues and dusty coral to bring in life and contrast to the desert scene. Black and gold tones accentuated the design, and with touches of different shades of blush from the stationery and cake, we created this beautiful desert inspiration.

Since we were actually seaside, In Loft Calligraphy decided to add a touch of inspiration from the sea by creating escort cards from white oyster shells, which made the design truly unique since it's an element one would never think to include in a desert setting! For the Bride's makeup, Chico Makeup Artistry went with a soft and light look, and for the hair, a loose updo that was elegant yet casual enough for a desert or seaside wedding. Adding a Maggie Wu Studio hair piece added an extra touch of elegance to the Bride's hairdo. To complete this inspiration, Watters had the perfect wedding dress that was flowy yet lightweight and would be perfect for any desert or seaside Bride!
