From n.barrett Photography... Madalyn and Job had a magical wedding weekend in San Miguel de Allende. On Friday, friends and family gathered for the callejoneada, which is a walking serenade through the city, where tequila flows like water. It is a folkloric event unique to Guanajuato, Mexico. Painted papier-mâché replicas of the Bride and Groom dance through the streets with family and friends close behind. It's the most theatrical and colorful celebration!

The couple was married the next day at the beautiful Villa Xido, a private garden residence just at the edge of town. The home sits on a hilltop overlooking the vast fields of Mexico. The reflection pool is a bonus to the expansive views. The couple did a first look at Casa No Name, a hidden retreat in the heart of town. Then we set out to create the perfect portrait in front of the iconic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel. The ceremony was followed by a cocktail hour. This included signature mango and tamarind margaritas and a full Mariachi band. A tented reception followed complete with first dance sparklers! What a weekend!
