Returning Home for a Romantic Tuscan Elopement
Cecelina Photography and The Wedding Stylist Design and Details, with help from Laura Bravi Events, imagined an Italian native who had moved away to work abroad but returned home for her wedding day, marrying her love in the place where she made many joyful and carefree childhood memories. Between the soft color palette, gorgeous setting, and simple, rustic touches, this Tuscan elopement inspiration session will leave you enamored!
From Cecelina Photography... There is something about the Italian air that gets under your skin, warms your heart, and invites you to revert back to your childhood self and just enjoy every moment. This shoot was inspired by just that, the playfulness and naiveté we all have when exploring Italy and in particular the rolling countryside of Tuscany.
An authentic and ancient Italian olive-farm-turned-wedding-venue played host to our inspired shoot of a home grown and organic style. Many international couples go in search of their “Italian escape” when planning their elopement or wedding, so we wanted to create a story of escapism and joyousness. We built the story around our Bride, a native Italian who lives and works abroad but has chosen to marry her love at her childhood home in Cortona. Her home boasts textured stone floors, stunning white walls, ancient olive grinders, and magnificent views of the Tuscan hills. Her style is simple and uncomplicated, and her look is soft and relaxed as she runs around her home’s olive gardens. The flowers are soft in palette as is the stationery, created using rustic, handmade papers.
