From Hannah MaysonDrawn to Chandelier Grove because of its simple beauty, Laura and Connor’s wedding among the pecan trees embodied just that. The weather was perfect, the details were beautifully planned out, and even the little ring bearers performed their duties without hesitation, but the entire day can truly be summed up in the bride’s smile. See for yourself!

Every guest had chills as Laura walked through the Farmhouse doors into the sun which lit up her BHLDN gown from behind. Connor was overcome with tears as he watched his bride walk towards him with the biggest smile. The two were married under a floral arch that perfectly complimented the bridesmaids blush dresses. Laura and Connor made it a point to spend their engagement dreaming about their marriage in addition to talking about wedding details, which intersected in the most touching ceremony. “Connor and I had both prayed that we would be completely present during our ceremony–acknowledging the gravity and beauty of the moment, and that prayer was answered tenfold.”

Being Masters Weekend, Arnold Palmers and golf updates were served alongside the bride’s choice, margaritas during cocktail hour in the pavilion. Laura and Connor joined their guests for toasts and dancing to some oldies by the lively eight-piece band. After all the classics, the newlyweds ran through white rose petals to their getaway car – the father of the groom’s vintage Porsche, decorated with a floral garland, or course.

Laura’s advice to brides in the midst of planning is, “Don’t take it all too seriously. It’s such a blessing to plan a wedding and work with talented people–the stress just isn’t worth it. My favorite part of wedding planning was all of the friendships I made with our vendors. These women (and men) are so talented and kind, and it was just a joy to support and affirm them in their work and get to know them personally.
