A pretty backdrop is a must for any wedding, in my opinion and today’s sweet I do scenery is next level pretty my friends. Say hello to Kenya. Gorgeous Kenya. Incredible right? With Kibogo Photography behind the lens, these bridal portraits are out of this world.
From Kibogo Photography… Going to Kenya is like going home. It’s my husband home country and we visit family and friends on a regular basis and when we are around we usually use the opportunity to shoot weddings or engagement sessions. Kenya is such a beautiful country with good food and very welcoming and friendly people. At least ones in your lifetime you should make it to Kenya. Just say’n… It was an honor to capture Philip and Lorraine’s wedding as we photographed their friends wedding two years ago, which is where we met the first time.
From the bride… Well basically I was visiting a friend in Melbourne as I was living in Adelaide at the time. Went to a party one of the nights and that was the first time we met, back in 2011. He came over, introduced himself and he rejoined his friends! I figured he was shy. I was shy too but he had definitely made an impression! We met later that year during my next visit to Melbourne, we exchanged telephone numbers and kept in touch as friends till I moved to Melbourne for work and further studies! We started dating, got to know each other a bit more, discovered we had a lot in common, and shared common goals. Time went by and the relationship grew stronger and we soon realized that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Got engaged on my birthday and had a beautiful wedding back in our home country in Kenya, surrounded by family and friends.
