Romantic, Mediterranean Wedding Inspiration for Destination Brides

Channeling the aesthetic of rustic Greek villages, Vasia Han Photography and the team of vendors behind this workshop in British Columbia styled a casually elegant reception using soft blues and golds. Their goal was to inspire destination Brides-to-be by creating a simple and obtainable – yet still beautiful – look. Between the mismatched chairs, the casual and romantic tablescape, and the the Bride's effortless french braid, they nailed it.

From Vasia Han Photography... This Mediterranean destination wedding inspiration shoot was styled for our workshop which we hosted in beautiful British Columbia a few weeks back. Real couple Nate and Kira were our models, and Kira wore the incredible Dover gown by Rime Arodaky, which was borrowed from local Vancouver boutique, Union Bridal. The decor for the reception was inspired by rustic village weddings in Greece. We wanted to style an obtainable design that real Brides could create for themselves for a destination wedding. After the shoot, our group dined at the tables!
