More and more couples are choosing the rehearsal and its subsequent dinner as a time to spend quality time with those important out of town guests and introducing families members to each other. Whether you've given any thought to your rehearsal dinner or not, it's become a crucial part of the whole wedding experience (proving often a rehearsal dinner is a kick off point to a weekend filled with wedding activities). And like the wedding, the rehearsal dinner is an opportunity to set a tone.
It's an Ice Breaker
Perhaps you've decided on a formal sit-down reception for your wedding, in contrast a rehearsal dinner could take on a more relaxed and fun atmosphere. A boisterous restaurant, bowling alley or perhaps a pizza parlor might be your thing when looking for a place that all your guests can attend. Perhaps that relaxed atmosphere is more suitable for roasts than your formal wedding reception. Give your intimate family and friends free reign at the rehearsal to go for it. The mic's theirs.
