I’ll be honest – Game of Thrones isn’t necessarily where I’d imagine most couples find their wedding inspiration. But for this bride and groom, incorporating their favorite show on the big day was a no-brainer. With very soft, subtle Game of Thrones nods, they personalized the pretty and Myrtle et Olive designed florals so worthy of your Pinterest boards. This wedding was a very unique combination of themes with lots of colorful feminine garden inspired elements paired with the couple’s love of Game of Thrones! The couple got married outdoors with a backdrop of Deer Lake and an incredible floral arch created by Myrtle et Olive. A hawk was set to deliver their vows but he had other ideas, distracted by a group of birds in a nearby tree, although the bride and groom had an opportunity to pose with him later! The reception was tented with lots of romantic details, lush florals and subtle Game of Thrones hints in the seating chart and table names, hand lettered by Written Word Calligraphy.
