With florals and design by Mindy Rice, planning by Laurie Arons, the prettiest images by Joel Serrato and all that beauty wrapped up with a film by Elysium Productions, this vault is a must-pore-through.
From Laurie Arons... Lauren & Brian’s wedding at the Santa Lucia Preserve was one of those special experiences that comes around every so often in this business. The couple and their families were so much fun and really wanted to create a memorable and personal wedding for their guests. The bride is an accomplished equestrian, so we incorporated nods to this special part of her life throughout the day - a horse shoe escort display, vintage trophies amidst the flowers and linen napkins with custom horse shoe embroidery. Lauren’s horse is named Magnolia, so Mindy Rice created beautiful magnolia trees at the entrance to the barn, while Perfect Endings adorned the deep green-blue cake with sugar magnolia blossoms. We made sure to incorporate the groom’s favorite things, like ice cream and a fine Scotch, in fun ways too. Passed gelato bon bons and dedicated Scotch bar were part of the after-dinner fun. The dinner itself was designed by acclaimed San Francisco chef Traci des Jardins, who worked with culinary team at the Preserve to execute it to perfection. Guests enjoyed a raw bar and caviar station at cocktails, then dined on gnocchi with lobster and filet mignon in the barn.
