Just because pictures need to be moved inside doesn’t mean you’re destined for boring and blah memories. Quite the opposite in fact. With a bright white backdrop, the Bride, the star of the show after all, shines with all her colorful blooms – courtesy of Laura’s Floras. Samantha Kirk captured it all and we’re giving indoor celebrations a lot more love thanks to her pics right this way!
From Samantha Kirk… This session was pretty much based around the weather. What usually happens on a wedding day? Nothing really goes right and sometimes the weather changes, and well, that’s what happened in this case. We wanted to bring the shoot indoors and show an inspirational bridal shoot for a bride who happens to have her whole day need to be reorganized from the weather.
From Laura’s Floras… When you give a florist a blank slate, what is she going to do? Go bold and colorful! The bold florals for this shoot offer a wonderful contrast to the bright, white space. The beautiful yellow tree peonies inspired the palette. The peach and coral amaryllis and roses draw on the vibrant coral centers of the peonies and add to the warm sunset palette. The earthy foliage and beautiful olive green silk ribbons from Silk and Willow bring a sophistication to the otherwise vibrant color palette. Jasmine vine trailing off of the bouquet mirror the whimsical vine installation on the wall. You would never know from looking at this session that it was gloomy and rainy outside.
We want any bride to be inspired and see that you can still get beautiful images no matter the weather but indoors on your wedding day!
