Returning to the Spot Where Their Love Story Began

These two have a love story for the books. It reads a little something like engagement in Venice, Italy and returning to the spot where they first met to tie the knot. That spot is the beautiful Kiawah Island in South Carolina and Sweetgrass Social Event + Design and Branch Design Studio made it all kinds of beautiful. In October, Brady and Trey returned to Kiawah Island, where their love story began, for their big day. The couple met in Kiawah, went on dates in Charleston, and were eventually engaged in Venice, Italy. The two share a love for travel, their dogs, and, as you can see from their wedding details, golf! Brady and Trey’s ceremony took place on the lawn of the River Course at Kiawah in front of 150 of their friends and family.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour before moving inside the club house for dinner and dancing. Guests found their tables listed on a “Seater Board” made to represent a golfer’s leader board. On each table, you could find a golf flag with the name of famous golf courses in the gorgeous centerpieces by Branch Design Studio. The ball room was dressed with a mixture of ivory, blush, dark pinks, navy and greens. The couple and their guests ate, drank, and danced before Brady and Trey took off on a decorated golf cart.
