Around these parts, bridal shoots are kind of our jam. Especially when they’re photographed through the lens of Julia Park, featuring a knockout bouquet by Les Petites Excuses. Take one peek at these Montreal-set images and you’ll see why every girl needs an epic staircase moment of her own. More this way!
From Julia Park Photography and Cinema…I always draw my inspiration from the location we are shooting at. Every city has its own feel, mood, and vibe that goes far beyond words in a travel book. And that “feel” is going to be different for everyone, of course. Every visitor would come into the city with their own “baggage” Every local would describe it differently, based on his or hew personal experience. In this creative, we wanted to show how Montreal looks through the eyes of a girl in love.
It’s easy to fall in love in this city and with this city. After all, it isn’t called “Paris of North America” for nothing.
Montreal is a place, where hundreds of years of rich past, blend in together with the present. A mix of old and new is easily seen everywhere: in architecture, traditions, and art.
So I think the dress our model wore from a local Toronto bridal designer Catherine Langlois, was a perfect fit. It’s classy, and dreamy, yet with modern elements such as an amazing open back with beading detail. Flowers from the bouquet by Les Petites Excuses were locally grown and sourced, so they tell their own tale of the city and it’s surroundings.
