Playing off the beautiful tones of New York’s Lake George, Meg and David’s wedding design was a thoughtful nod to its waterside setting. Muted tones of grey and ivory rounded out their palette while moments like greenery draped chandeliers perfectly brought the outdoors in. Thanks to Lindsay Madden for these must-see images.
From Lindsay Madden… Meg and David were married on a gorgeous summer day at the iconic Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, NY. Meg and David envisioned their wedding day to be romantic and most importantly, centered around their family and friends. They teamed up with Renaissance Floral Design in order to bring their fresh and organic vision to life. Meg’s bridesmaids selected their own style of dresses from Amsale and their whole look was tied together by lush bouquets provided by Renaissance Floral Design.
Meg looked radiant in her Mark Zunino wedding dress from Kleinfeld’s while David looked very chic in his tuxedo. The location for the ceremony was outdoors surrounded by the beautiful Lake George. The reception decor complemented the Sagamore’s natural and organic space and since it’s always the details that make any event stand out, Renaissance Floral Design worked their magic with a whimsical sage green and white color palette.
Another design element that really caught everyone’s attention was the vines draped around the hanging chandeliers. Meg and David’s cake was designed by the Sagamore and all of their guests danced the night away courtesy of the 45 Riots band. It was definitely an epic dance party!
