Blush + Blue Pair Up For This Beautiful Bash
Pink and blue may have you thinking babies (boy or girl!?) but when this darling hue duo paired up for this al fresco fete, it was pure love all around. From the Bride... When we visited Rancho Las Lomas we immediately fell in love with how gorgeous it is, with the Spanish style architecture surrounded by lush botanical gardens. One of our favorite things about the property is that it is also a wildlife foundation that is home to some unique animals, including a white tiger! The venue has so many little details that make it a beautiful and exciting place to explore and we knew that it was the perfect setting for our wedding.
After deciding to have our wedding at Rancho Las Lomas started on the details that would make our wedding special. When trying to decide on colors, I wanted to make sure that they harmonized well with the colors of the venue. Around Rancho Las Lomas there are beautiful painted tiles, lampposts, and cobblestones that inspired me to choose a dusty blue and blush pink color scheme. I wanted the flowers to be whimsical and romantic so I asked my florist to have things like berries and thistle mixed in for added color and texture.
When I was looking for a photographer, I had a certain style in mind, and when I found Christina from Hello Blue Photo I knew that she was the right choice. The way that Christina uses the natural light creates a soft and romantic look that I wanted for our wedding photos. She also uses both digital and film photography to beautifully capture her images. Looking back, one of the best things that happened on our big day was that we were able to stay relaxed and enjoy our time together because of Christina’s warm and friendly demeanor. Picking Christina as our photographer was definitely one of the best choices that we made!
