From the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa... Yi Hua Lin and Shou Peter Mei met in grade school and started dating in 2004. They both moved to Chicago at a young age, and currently still reside there. Yi Hua is a veterinary technician and Peter is in his fourth year of radiology residency. They love to travel together and enjoy the simple things in life.
Peter proposed to Yi in Maui on the Road to Hana, and decided to have their wedding at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. They were inspired by the colors purple and gold, and wanted to have a pineapple theme at the wedding, as shown with their fabulous centerpieces. They had a small ceremony on the Makai Lawn of the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, and continued to the nearby Napili Pool Lawn for the reception.
