For those of you that are looking for your daily dose of vitamin C, allow us to introduce you to the pretty that is this inspiration from Sylvie Gil Photography. It’s a saturated shoot that’s sure to warm up a chilly afternoon and thankfully we’ve got it all to share in The Vault!
From Carrie Moe…I had a painting that inspired me for a long time with reds, blues, yellow and pinks that blended so beautifully. I wanted to try make a color palette that was different and unique but similar to the painting. We added in a touch of orange as well to really give it a pop and I am very pleased how the colors came together. We gave each artist (cake artist, invitation, backdrop etc) the same painting that inspired me and let them each mix the colors and blend them together. With so many combinations of colors it is easy to go off stray but each artist really did a beautiful job of interpreting the colors to them and kept them cohesive. The invitation designer used acrylic paints, the backdrop artist dyed papel picado paper and the cake designer used food paints and they all came together to really work so beautifully together.
