From the Bride…
The invitations | I’ve been designing invitations as a creative outlet and knew I wanted to incorporate a custom set into the wedding design. Jon wanted a modern font and I fell in love with the blush watercolor florals.
The ceremony | Our ceremony was one of the best parts of the day. I knew once we were together at the end of that aisle that we would keep each other calm no matter how big the storm was outside. Instead of being stressful, it was a beautiful reminder of why we fell for each other; we just have a knack for keeping each other happy when life gets crazy.
The floral wall | We wanted something that would blend seamlessly with the outdoor environment we had anticipated getting married in. Little did we know it would become the star of the night after being moved indoors. I will never forget the moment I walked into the carriage house and saw the way he was looking at me, standing amidst all the candles and our floral backdrop; it was pure magic.
The dress | The light taupe tulle was such a pretty color and made it feel unique. I felt like something straight out of a fairytale in the long train, intricate beading, and chiffon flowers. It was the princess dress every girl dreams of.
The guestbook | Our trips usually consist of the two of us jumping in the car and exploring, so we collected vintage postcards leading up to the wedding and asked our guests to help us make a road trip guide. They wrote on the card that reminded them of a place they loved and now we have a collection of travel tips and lovely notes to flip through!
