Natural + Elegant Holman Ranch Wedding
There's just something about a ranch wedding that truly delights. Perhaps is the juxtaposition of romance with rustic surroundings? Or maybe it's the fact that the venue for this stunning celebration just so happens to be the Holman Ranch (one of our personal favorites)! Add in a dose of Kelly Oshiro design and Laura Murray Photography behind the lens and you're guaranteed a gallery full of goodness. See it all below!
From Kelly Oshiro...Sara has exquisite taste, and wanted her wedding day to feel timeless, with a decidedly French feel. She picked a classic palette of white, green with hints of blue/gray. During her design process, I suggested ivy as a theme, as it means "fidelity in marriage" and it's also featured throughout Holman Ranch.
At ceremony, tiers of flowers placed by Mandolin Floral appeared like it was growing up of the ground at ceremony and blended in nicely with existing matilija poppies. Later, we moved these arrangements to reception which created an extra wow factor when guests walked in.
For her table design, Mandolin created large organic centerpieces and in between, I placed bowls of fresh black berries mixed with a loose ivy garland. For the table setting, I brought The Ark with me all the way from LA. Sara actually owns the same handmade french plates at home, so it seemed fitting that they should be at her wedding.
For the cake table, I pulled a petite table from Barn Relic in Santa Ynez and draped it with gauze. The cake was delicately accented with petite floral and ivy all atop a Restoration Hardware cake stand.
