Can we all agree that Ese and Jack deserve some sort of wedding planning medal? I certainly think so. Because these two pulled off one incredible day in just three months, planning the entire celebration from soup to nuts. Their priorities? Beautiful venue, pretty florals, and amazing photography. Check, check and check. More from Sawyer Baird in The Vault.
From The Bride…We wanted a very small, intimate wedding with our closest family and friends. We planned the entire wedding ourselves and started just three months prior to our big day. With so little planning time, we decided to pick a few priorities and trust that everything else would come together. For us those priorities were a beautiful venue, pretty florals, and our amazing photographer- Sawyer Baird.
Our vision for the day centered around a romantic/natural feel and small, beautiful details. It was important to us that the day feel authentically us, so we incorporated personalized details throughout the day. For example, plants are very special to us so we made succulent favors for all of our guests. Also, we met in Atlanta and JCT Kitchen was a restaurant that we frequented prior to choosing it as our venue. We knew their amazing food would be something that our guests would enjoy.
We had also heard from so many couples that the day would go by so fast. Our goal really was to enjoy the day and savor one of the most special days of our journey together. As such, we spent the morning of the wedding getting ready together in our home- just the two of us. This ended up being one of the best parts of our day. Everything truly turned out amazing and we wouldn’t change a thing!
