When the Bride packs her (gorgeous!) La Tavola linens in her suitcase and travels with them from California to France, well, that’s what we call dedication. And it was beyond worth it. They were one glam detail among many at this destination wedding planned by Lavender & Rose Weddings in the picture perfect Provence. Greg Finck captured it all for our lucky eyes – and guess what? More French treats this afternoon; stay tuned!
From Greg Finck… This is probably the longest list of credits I have ever drafted! I still can’t believe how much dedication Natalie put in her wedding during 18 months, and it was really difficult to do justice in photographs to all of the beautiful details she had planned for her guests.
Natalie and Joon are a couple from Manhattan Beach, California. They booked me for their wedding in Provence in long time ago, and I had had the time to meet them for the engagement session in California in-between. They are the sweetest couple and it was a true pleasure to work with them.
To help them with the planning and design of their wedding day, Natalie and Joon hired the fairytales from Lavender and Rose Weddings. It’s always a great pleasure to work with this dream team from the South of France, who have become friends across the years. Natalie and Joon’s wedding day was held at beautiful Château de Robernier, in the middle of scenic Provence. This French Castle has been in the same noble family for more than 400 years, and has just been renewed a few months ago.
Miss Rose by Perrine led the floral design, from the bride’s bouquet, to the magnificent escort card table, to the table decor. The dominant colors were green and salmon, matching the wonderful La Tavola Linens, brought by the bride from California in her suitcases!
Natalie was stunning in her Galia Lahav’s gown, and I loved the bridesmaids in their matching Jenny Packham dresses! The ceremony was held at the Church in Cotignac. After that, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with the magnificent Provence weather, and enjoyed the canapés from L’Eveil des Papilles. A beautiful swing was setup in front of a Photo Booth to strike some poses. Becky and Belha, an acoustic duo led the music during cocktail hour.
It was then time for reception, and to discover the amazing table setup by Lavender and Rose Weddings. What a treat for the eyes! The Phy Boys led the musical ambiance by going from table to table, and guests loved it! It was then time for the cake cutting, with a beautiful cake by Wedding Cake by Pamela. What a wonderful wedding day under the sun of Provence!
