Multicultural weddings? They’re kind of our jam. The blending of two families, two backgrounds, two sets of traditions is beautiful in so many ways and lucky for us, Haithem and Azza felt the same. They planned a day with thoughtful nods to both their backgrounds and brought on Annamarie Akins to make sure not even a second was missed. More right here!
From Annamarie Akins…When I first met Haithem and Azza, I knew right away that I was going to love being a part of this sweet season in their lives. It was such a gorgeous day filled with love and the blending of their two cultures and families.
The day began at the Hotel Monaco in Alexandria followed by the ceremony and reception at Fairfax Hall. We ended the evening at sunset with a perfect lighting atop the Kennedy Center! The place was fitting because it was where Azza and Haithem first held hands and told each other that they liked one another.
It was so special to be up there at the end of their wedding with them, and such an honor to capture their day!
