From Kibogo Photography…For a film about my work as a destination wedding photographer, I picked the stunning backdrop of the Sahara desert in Morocco. My dear friend Irene was there to shoot portraits of my husband and me, and then I turned the camera on her and used her as my model wearing an ethereal tulle skirt from Noni.
For the location, I chose Kasbah Sahara Services Deluxe Camp which has great service, yummy food, and amazing tents. Hotel Mhamid is located in the last town called Mhamid before entering the desert. That where you leave your rental car and they drive you with a 4-wheeler to the tented camps in the middle of the desert.
The scenery is amazing and so calming. A perfect place to have an elopement or small intimate wedding. At night temperatures dipped down to freezing but during the day a toasty 25 celsius made for great weather to explore the desert. We were there in January, which they say is the coldest month.
