You'll Love What Song This Couple Chose For Their First Dance
We have a major crush on this adorable duo. Why, you ask? They chose to have their first dance to N*SYNC's "This I Promise You," because as the bride says, it "really reflects us because we both LOVE late 90's and early 00's songs and reminiscing our junior high/high school days, when pop love songs gave you all the feels." From The Bride...I always knew I wanted an outdoor wedding because I had envisioned my first dance to be under twinkling market lights with the sun setting in the background. When Nuri and I stepped onto Serra Plaza, I had a feeling this was THE venue when I saw the fountain, lights, and rustic beauty of this mission-styled place. As soon as the venue was checked off, I started putting together a Pinterest board of the feel and look I was going for: romantic, rustic, and elegant. With the natural tones from the buildings and tables from Serra Plaza, I decided to incorporate blush, gold, and a pop of a summer color like coral. Everything came together so perfectly in the end and I was truly able to have my dream outdoor wedding!
It's so hard, but if I had to choose a favorite moment from the wedding, it has to be the first dance. It was such an intimate and romantic moment where I felt like I was in a movie, with everyone just fading in the background and Nuri and I were whisked away to our own little world to dance to one of our favorite songs. It was even more meaningful because we had my sister and his close friend singing the song.
