From Kathi Littwin Photography…I loved the simple approach that the couple had, never over the top but stunning when it all came together. The floral design was gorgeous. The individual bridesmaid dresses were striking as was the bride’s Oscar De La Renta gown, with an amazing train. It was a beautiful wedding, with a delicious menu, that felt true to the couple.
From The Bride…The girls used all different designers. My only request to the girls was to choose a long grey gown. I wanted to make sure they each felt comfortable in what they were wearing and that the dress reflected their own personal style.
For a story, this isn’t necessarily my strong suit. Jeremy and I are not the type to “over theme” anything- he wanted a great band and I wanted amazing flowers. Given that we met in Manhattan and both love nature, we thought the Wainwright House would be the perfect venue to reflect our love for city culture as well as the outdoors. We wanted to focus around local and seasonal- everything from the vendors we used to the summer themed menu and floral varietals. The most important part of the day was for our guests to feel at home and to enjoy an evening together with a delicious summer themed menu and great music in a warm, inviting ambiance. Having our families all together made for the most perfect wedding day. We truly felt so blessed to have everyone together for our special day!
