From The Bride To Be…I met my fiancé Josh while studying graphic design at Arizona State University. I kept seeing this cute boy pop up around campus and decided to ask if he would share his portfolio with me. Next thing I know, we are on a date over coffee and I couldn’t help but fall head over heels for him! Since then we have moved to New York City, became designers, got an adorable French bulldog, and travelled any chance we get.
Josh bought me tickets to Paris for Christmas last year and proposed in the gardens of Versailles. I asked a stranger to take our picture and when I turned around he was getting on one knee with a ring! I was so surprised, and so happy to finally say “yes”.
For our engagement photos I knew I wanted to shoot in New York. I thought it would be the perfect way to commemorate all the adventures we have had here. Our first apartment was close to Central Park, so that was our first choice. I found a tulle dress from one of my favorite brands, Needle & Thread, that was romantic and a little glam! As transplant New Yorkers we also love our fair share of rooftops, so we used the rooftop at Josh’s work for our second location. We are so happy with how it turned out!
