Shades of Pink Transformed the Bride's Childhood Home Into the Perfect Venue

If you're lucky enough to live in the picturesque Edna Valley Hills in San Luis Obispo, deciding to have an at-home wedding is an easy decision. Working with Le Festin Events and Lori Boe Floral, this sweet Bride and Groom transformed her childhood home into the classic, romantic wedding of their dreams in shades of gold, pink and fuchsia. And, Mirelle Carmichael captured all the pretty for us in The Vault!

From The Bride...Ryan and I met our freshman year of school in the dorms of California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. Seven years later, Ryan asked me to marry him a few months before we moved to Portland, Oregon for Ryan’s medical schooling. Ryan and I are hopeless romantics and we wanted to have wedding that reflected that. The gold, pink, and fuchsia decor set the tone for our classic, romantic theme. Our wedding was special to us because it took place at my childhood home in the Edna Valley Hills in San Luis Obispo, where Ryan and I went the first night we met. Ryan and I loved watching our guests enjoying the wedding together in celebration of our love. The view from the house was breathtaking and the weather was perfect for dancing. It was a magical day for the both of us.
