This is the Classic Wedding of Every Bride’s Dreams

It’s not often you find a hotel ballroom with clean lines and modern décor, but Lauren and Sean transformed the space, mixing the hotel’s contemporary style with their love of nature through fresh blooms and vines to give it a vineyard feel. And to incorporate the Bride’s love of horses, lucky horseshoes from her beloved horse were scattered amongst the various floral displays. See all the pretty details (including the Bride’s beautiful hairdo from True Beauty Marks), captured by Emily Wren Photography and Squareware Studios, in The Vault!

From Emily Wren PhotographyLauren & Sean were married in Philadelphia on a beautiful September day in 2015. They tied the knot at Old Saint Joseph’s – one of the oldest churches in Philadelphia, located in the Old City section and filled with old world charm. We then strolled down the winding cobblestone streets and brick row homes of Headhouse Square for some portraits that captured some of Philadelphia’s historic character.

They kicked off the wedding reception at Hotel Monaco, with cocktail hour on the rooftop bar, and reception in the main ballroom to follow. Lauren & Sean are both outdoorsy people; Lauren dedicated to riding her horse and Sean to surfing. They brought this love of nature to their decor, mixing the hotel’s modern touches with fresh blooms and vines which recalled the feel of a classic vineyard. To top it off, lucky horseshoes from Lauren’s beloved horse were scattered amongst the various floral displays.
