See Why Oatmeal + Terracotta Are This Seasons New ‘IT’ Colors

A new take on neutrals? You bet, and it’s all thanks to Bows And Arrows for hosting the loveliest workshop. Tucked away in the gardens in Dallas layers of blush, camel, and oatmeal come out to play in the prettiest way. With Kayla Barker Fine Art Photography behind the lens, this is one inspiration that you’ll want to bookmark pronto. See it all in The Vault!

From Bows And Arrows … We had the privilege to host a mother-daughter duo of Candelaria Designs in Dallas at the home of Julie Cohn, a fine art jewelry designer, to explore the world of design and aesthetics. We were tucked away in the gardens of Julie’s home and used tones of blush, coral, camel and oatmeal to lay the groundwork of our tablescape. We draped the table in a gorgeous oatmeal La Tavola linen and had a centerpiece overflowing with garden roses, pom dahlia, hellebores, allium, amaranthus, foraged vines, textures and pomegranates. The place cards were written by Lauren Essl of Blue Eye Brown Eye, and all beautifully captured by our dear friend Kayla Barker. We used the natural, botanical elements of the garden to lay an effortless backdrop for our shoot to allow the attendees to explore within their own aesthetic and design to create a concept that was equally elegant, minimal and approachable.
