Champagne, Crepes, and Lavender! All things French Live in this Provencal Wedding Inspiration

If I could, I would move right into this pretty lil’ gallery. Because when something includes every single one of your favorite things, it’s hard to resist residency. A day complete with Buttercream Bakery cookies and Alicia Lacey Photography behind the lens, we’ve got it all waiting in The Vault!

From Alicia Lacey PhotographyThis romantic Provencal wedding shoot took place in the stunning hedged gardens of Oatlands Plantation with each element designed to inspire the couple who takes pleasure in all things French: fine wine, sharp cheese, and delicious pastries. Commonly a more secluded region of this beautiful country, we wanted the setup to include subtle neutral tones with varying hues of purple as a nod to the lavender fields that fill the area. In true European fashion, the bride’s soft hair and makeup were complemented by her understated gown that featured hints of lace and a dreamy low back. The couple shared a few intimate moments alone with one another before indulging the day that lie ahead.
