This Vineyard Picnic E-sesh is Everything
Having had experienced the magic that is Charlottesville I totally get why these Californians opted for a vineyard e-sesh there. For not only can I can attest to how incredibly captivating this place is, it's also got wine that is simply put: delish. From Michael and Carina Photography...For thousands of years, wine has been associated with romance - and no wonder! Rachele and Justin's love of wines is matched only by their love of each other. It was such a joy to photograph their engagement session at Keswick Vineyards, one of our favorite wineries & locations in Virginia!
From The Bride...Justin proposed in San Francisco and we spent our engagement weekend celebrating in Napa Valley, so I wanted to have our engagement photos taken on a vineyard to tie it all together! We went to the rustic yet very elegant Keswick Vineyards in Charlottesville, VA where we started off with a wine picnic (something Justin & I love to do together). Everything in our picnic was from a local Charlottesville market that we picked up that day, including the bouquet made by a local florist. Another detail that I love when looking at the photos is the wine corks on the cheese knives are meaningful to us - one is from the bottle we had in San Francisco the day we got engaged, and the other is from a bottle we brought back from Napa and shared with our parents to celebrate our engagement! It was important for us to include some extra meaningful details into our pictures. We had a great time turning our engagement session into a date together and truly had so much fun, although I'm sure the wine helped!
