From Amy Osaba... I was honored to have the opportunity to work with Jessica Sloane and Rylee Hitchner on this amazing shoot. Jessica sent out a mood board that was very European and Parisian, and I sought to include blooms that embodied the elegance, sophistication, and romance of such a beautiful city. I wanted a "hand-picked" feel for the bouquet, so I foraged a lot of the blooms and greens from my mother's garden. Garden roses and lisianthus created elegance and romance, while oakleaf hydrangea, scabiosa, and statice added depth and texture and allowed the bouquet to feel light and airy. Using greens such as bayleaf, dusty miller, and elaeagnus added movement to the bouquet and maintained that "organic, hand-picked" look I was going for. I purchased a few majolicas, snow on the mountain, and a bit of tweedia to add the finishing touches to this bouquet!
