From The Bride...It was important that our wedding day embodied an intimate, down to earth reflection of our personalities and interests. We stumbled upon the Malibu Phoenix wedding location online. After one short visit, we knew right away that this setting, lush in green and complete with a sense of utter calm was exactly where we needed to be! It was our first and only site visit! In planning, we focused on embracing the natural beauty of the Latigo Canyon surroundings with a romantic, rustic touch.
There were so many special moments that day. One of my favorites included our pre-ceremony bride and groom first look and portrait session. We enjoy spending our free time exploring nature, therefore the Sycamore Tree forest seemed to be a perfect back drop for this intimate shoot.
Our garden ceremony included an acoustic Beatles cover of "Here Comes The Sun," Native American sage blessing and vows that involved our guests promising to support us through our new journey. It was an incredibly special moment!
For cocktail hour our guests sipped homemade craft brew while Flamenco guitarist, El Javi's melodies rang through the canyon's naturally acoustic garden setting. The reception was extremely beautiful with wooden farm tables, green garland, succulents and florals, twinkly lights, candles and delicious food!
As the evening was winding down and dancing coming to a close, our DJ requested that we form a circle with our guests. We held hands, sang and danced to our last song of the evening. It was lovely to look around our circle of friends and family and to share that moment together. It was truly a night that we will never forget!
The entire day was much more beautiful than we could have ever hoped. We were extremely fortunate to have found our group of incredibly talented individuals that turned our dreams and visions in to a stunningly beautiful and super fun reality and with only three months of planning!
