This inspiration is what I’d like my life to look like – can someone arrange that? If not, I’ll be taking up residence in The Vault until my dreams become reality. Because with the talented Sophie Epton Photography behind the lens snapping up the beauty that is The Contemporary Art Museum At Laguna Gloria, well let’s just say that it’s a gallery fit for daydreams. See it all in The Vault!
From Sophie Epton Photography…Meghan is a natural beauty inside and out, and when I saw her wedding dress, I was so inspired by the intricate beading and sweeping shapes; I felt like I had stepped into an Art Nouveau film, and immediately knew the art movement would be the inspiration for her bridal! For our backdrop we chose Laguna Gloria, an incredible wedding venue in Austin, Texas built in 1916 to depict an Italian villa. The gorgeous sweeping greenery combined with the architectural stone railings paired perfectly with the ethereal feel of the shoot. Rosehip Flora provided the ideal bouquet of loose, whimsical blooms that worked so well with the color and shape of the dress, and Meghan’s look was finished off with soft but dramatic hair and makeup by Makenzi Laine. Although it was a windy day, the light coming through the greenery and movement created by the wind made for a stunning shoot that depicts a modern-day wedding interpretation of such a great art movement in history.
