From The Bride…The day started with traditional Chinese door games and tea ceremony. The groom and groomsmen needed to pass challenges designed by the bridesmaids in order to see the bride; one of the challenges was to serenade the bride with a Disney song. This was followed by a fairy tale like ceremony at Casa Loma and finally an intimate reception with our closest family and friends at Auberge du Pommier. We wanted our guests to have fun and share in the day so we had them toss flower petals at the end of our ceremony and post online to our hashtag throughout the day. DIY projects also made a our wedding unique and special. From small touches, such as glamouring up our centerpiece vases with glitter, to making succulent bombonieres for our guests, to our largest project of crafting an entire flower wall backdrop for our photo booth, we really enjoyed these projects and the personality they brought to our wedding.
