With Jana Williams Photography behind the lens and Perryfield Films capturing the pretty, we've got it all waiting in The Vault!
From Jana Williams Photography... On a Friday night in June of 2010, probably the furthest thought from Geoff and Val's minds was that later that evening, they would meet the person they were going to marry. After all, the old adage “What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas” seemed to be an observed law; but then again, Geoff and Val had never played by the rules. Five years and a few months after that fateful Friday night meeting, they stood in union, before family and friends and said their "I do's" in a beautiful ceremony.
From the Bride...Everyone told us it would be the best day of our lives and it truly was. To have a day to celebrate our love for each other with all of the people we love the most in this world is an indescribable experience. I will never forget the feeling when I came around the corner of the St. Regis terrace and saw the ceremony setting for the first time. The beautiful draping flowers, so much love in the air, and my soon-to-be husband waiting for me at the end of the aisle. It was perfect, and set the tone for a truly magical evening.
If you can’t afford a wedding planner, or a photographer, or a videographer, it’s not the end of the world. Above all else, the most important thing that day will be your ATTITUDE. The energy you give off will be emulated by others. If you are stressed, frustrated, or angry, those around you will feel it and take on the same emotion. Again, yes, things will go wrong, and when you’ve invested so much into this one day, it’s hard not to be affected by it. But weddings are a lot of work, and all those involved are doing their best to make it perfect for you. So be gracious and kind to everyone who helps make the day possible. And remember when it comes down to it, you’re there to marry the person you love. So be happy that you get to! Be humbled by the fact that everyone present is there for you. Take in all of the joy and love; it will radiate through you, and you will undoubtedly be your most beautiful self on your wedding day.
