Sentimental venue? Her father’s personal estate. Gorgeous backdrop? The Blueridge Mountains. Unique ceremony location? A staircase adorned with Holly Chapple Flowers garland and a fox statue for good measure. Carrying the fox motif throughout the day with Laura Hooper Calligraphy and escort cards, this is one coral capped celebration from Abby Jiu that you have to see in The Vault!
From Abby Jiu Photography…On a gorgeous spring day, Jennifer and Jeffrey were married on her father’s personal estate, Jessamine Farm, near the Little Inn of Washington in Washington, VA. The 75 acre estate offered beautiful views of the Blueridge Mountains, and the property itself simply accentuated the natural beauty around them. The ceremony was held on the front porch which had a long staircase that was adorned with green garland and a beautiful statement of peonies and roses. A fox statue at the bottom of the staircase, adorned with a flower wreath, played to the farm background of the property and the fox motif was carried throughout the invitations and escort cards. Jennifer and her father were brought to the ceremony on a horse-drawn carriage, which Jennifer and Jeff later exited on as husband and wife.
Guests were greeted with watermelon quenchers as they arrived, and cocktails were later served on the back veranda where guests could mingle or explore the historic property and gardens. The reception was held under a cloth tent, which was decorated with lush greenery and bright coral and pink flowers. The guests danced the night away with laughter and smiles. Desserts were later served poolside before the couple exited under a canopy of sparklers.
