With April’s arrival, there’s no denying spring is on its way! It’s time to surround ourselves with those pretty pastels once again and what better way to get the party started than with this shoot inspired by artists we all admire. With dresses that Monet and Renoir would have gone gaga over and soft hair and makeup thanks to Face Time Beauty, Bespoke Only created the scene before us, showing off exactly why we love spring so much. See every blissful bit in our Vault thanks to Judy Pak right this way!
From Judy Pak… Inspired by Paul Cézanne, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and the one and only Claude Monet, the creative concept started by borrowing the unique nuanced approach of Impressionism artworks, to blend, mingle, whisk a subdued color palette to achieve a dreamy painterly effect, or “impression” – that is every bit romantic, but also rich and full of vibrancy.
Being set in a luminous glass farmhouse, a fluid color movement is unfolded in intriguing layers of subdued tints merged with a common transparency given by the softly veiled natural light. An unclothed farm table is a canvas itself for this textured painting made of a mix of hues of pale blush, soft yellow and periwinkle – dots of colors intermingle with one another on layered semi-sheer linen and tulle sequin; matte and glossy hand blown ceramics; unexpected blooms and foraged kumquats; illuminated crystal cut glass and candlesticks all together form a harmonious play. A rich sensory is revealed in the juxtaposition between the delicacy of floral gowns and the rather sparse farmhouse surrounding; nostalgia in the oil paintings and an otherwise modern decor.
