This Groom Chose to Marry at a Place Close to His Heart

There are so many beautiful venues to host a wedding, but for this Groom there was no better spot to tie the knot than his childhood home. It was the perfect summer day with a ceremony set in front of a fountain followed by a candlelit reception underneath the stars. You guys, it doesn’t get better than this – especially with vendors like Lane Dittoe and Always rsvp on board. Head to The Vault and see for yourself.

From Always rsvp… Beautiful bride, handsome groom, fantastic and very personal venue where the groom spent his childhood. All guests were transported up the winding hill by small buses where they were greeted with personalized seating assignments, wedding programs and beautiful lace handkerchiefs to wipe away tears of joy and laughter. The wedding took place on a very hot, sunny day so we covered the ceremony spot with umbrellas and the caterer made sure there was plenty of cool water for the guests and staff as well. Since the ceremony was in front of a fountain, we created clear viewing by seating guests in a semi-circle around the perimeter of the fountain with all groomsmen and bridesmaids seated after walking down the aisle.

The cocktail area was purposely moved into the shade where guests could enjoy a double bar and sumptuous hors d’oeuvres. Once called to dinner, guests were greeted with the sounds of an amazing band and a white wedding setting with specially purchased lace cloth covering the tables.

The pool became the dance floor with enough room for the bridal party table. The stage for the band was under a tree so we could provide full shade if needed. Beautiful floral arrangements in gold containers and flowers added to the personalized menus in gold and white. The hot tub was created by the bride’s father to support 30+ glass enclosed white pillar candles for a romantic glow throughout the evening.
