From Always Yours Events... The gorgeous venue was Hardy Farm and Inn, a restored barn with gray-washed walls, crystal chandeliers, two grand center staircases, white sliding wood doors and reclaimed wood floors, and it worked impeccably with this wedding design. The color palette and scope of this design was inspired by the juxtaposition of soft sheepskin texture and clear lucite, combining soft and feminine fabrics with angular and firmer elements. The color palette incorporated multiple shades of gray, a soft blue-gray, soft white and matte gold.
Details included lucite "ghost" chairs topped with sheepskin throws, gray tapered candles, matte gold straight edged Arezzo flatware, matte gold candlesticks, lucite menu cards and escort cards with etched calligraphy, Belgian gray linen napkins, a plethora of long dyed silk ribbons in various shades of gray and soft white, and stunning flowy and organic wide bouquets and centerpieces incorporating white peonies and Icelandic poppies tied with strands of dyed silk ribbons. And of course Tori's statement gown. This stunning Watters gown invoked the qualities of lucite with the illusion neckline, bodice and back, while still featuring an ethereal skirt made from layers and layers of soft ivory tulle and chiffon.
