Romantic Flower-Filled Laguna Hills Wedding

When I say get ready for all the feels, I'm not just being dramatic. Erin and Adam's big day will remind you what weddings are all about: love. Instead of saying "I do" in a traditional wedding venue, this sweet couple chose to wed in the Groom's grandmother's retirement community and with Grandma's help planning, the whole day came together beautifully. From Carmen Santorelli...The bride and groom's wedding day was a joyous and intimate experience. What made the event especially unique, was in that it took place inside the groom's grandmother's retirement community. The grandmother's participation in the planning process and having the wedding in her "backyard" made the day that much more personal and special.

A caterer who went above and beyond, an experienced florist, and a DIY-savvy bride transformed the venue into something that wildly exceeded the couple's expectations. The bride created signage on a mirror and several chalkboards, and handpicked a number of decorations to complete their wedding's "classy rustic" theme, including: strings of warm-colored LED lights, custom wooden table numbers and a custom wooden guestbook from Etsy designer Sweet Carolina Collective, rustic picture frames, and glass storage boxes with bronze gilded borders. Without the help of a coordinator, the groom's parents, sister, and brother-in-law placed all the decorations the morning of the wedding. With the support of family, friends, and vendors, the couple had a wedding experience they'll never forget.
