Vintage rings from Trumpet And Horn. An ethereal dove gray Alexandra Grecco lace top and and tulle skirt. Lush, organic-inspired florals full of white peonies. And an empty loft transformed into an elegant, industrial chic reception with a french flair thanks to Kaleb Norman James Design and La Tavola Fine Linens. Trust me when I say, it doesn’t get any prettier than this inspiration session from Whiskers And Willow Photography. Pin it all in The Vault!
From Whiskers And Willow Photography…Gray is a color of transitioning – midway between heavy dark black and light bright white. As winter transitions to spring we wanted to reject the stark heaviness typically associated with winter, and instead evoke a wispy mood. Winter weddings are so frequently associated with dark colors, but we wanted something that spoke to a nascent transition from winter to spring. Deep floral hues, arranged by Kaleb Norman James (accented tastefully with white peonies), heavy flatware, and the striking dark wood of the Metropolist, were contrasted against the light and airy color of linens from La Tavola Fine Linens, enabling this mood of rebirth. Preppy details – aged books and wood darts – adorned the airy stationary by Koordination by Krisanna. The flowy Alexandra Grecco skirt and top from The Dress Theory, juxtaposed with the wool ASOS grooms’ suit, completed the ambiance, and perfectly encapsulated our winter to spring transition.
