Elegant and Classic La Jolla Wedding

From Alex Warschauer Photography...Sara + Austin's love for one another is nothing short of pure and blissful - and their wedding was a perfect display of just that. When Alex Warschauer was asked to photograph Austin's beachside proposal to Sara, is where he witnessed their love for the first time. After taking their engagement photos and seeing that once more, it was more than an honor to be asked to capture their day. For a photographer, there's nothing more special and memorable that being a part of such incredible moments in ones life.
It was a gorgeous and misty morning alongside the coast of La Jolla, California on the day of Sara and Austin's wedding, which took place at the historical La Valencia Hotel. Dawned with black and white checker marble floors, Spanish architecture, and an epic ocean view, guests and vendors a like knew that this wedding was going to be nothing short of spectacular.
The ceremony took place overlooking the Pacific Ocean, at one of the finer hours of the day – during sunset. An intimate ceremony of about 125 friends and family members gathered to watch Sara + Austin’s nuptials. Before the ceremony began, the officiant took a moment for the bride and groom to take one last look around before at their guests before they were wed. The officiant announced that this would be an unplugged ceremony which was wonderful news for photographer Alex Warschauer Photography.
The reception was elegantly dressed in white linens with accents of black and midnight blue. A dimly-lit room was the perfect setting for bright pops of white and candle lighting.
The dessert table was filled with white and midnight blue assortments of classical desserts with a modern twist. Beautifully decorated blackberries dusted in shimmery sugar sat atop miniature cheesecake bites. In coordination with the primary colors of the wedding, midnight blue, were also blackberry French macaroons filled with raspberry filing - and a floral cake to drool over.
At the end of the evening Sara + Austin were escorted outside by all of their guests to formally end their night on a sparkly note.
