I could stare at this Bride's bouquet all.day.long. I'm not joking, it's so pretty, it's perfect. The colors, the arrangement, the flowers selected. So major props to Enchanted Garden Floral Design because their creation is why I'm not leaving our Vault anytime soon. Charming + Romantic Maravilla Gardens Wedding
From the Bride... Seven months later, Travis and I still talk about how perfect our special day was. We wish we were in that moment again. The music that Aaron Massey, from VOX DJ's, played made me dance all night while Travis was catching up with childhood friends he hadn't seen in years. I even did the cupid shuffle and had fun doing it!! Aaron worked the crowd and was so professional.
Every time we look at our pictures Travis and I feel blessed to have had a day where we had all our loved ones in one place sharing our joy and love. My flowers were absolutely STUNNING!! Judy from Enchanted Garden, was so detailed from the bar to my bridal bouquet. I loved the soft peach dahlias with the antique lavender roses, the lush passion vine and cascading amaranthus. My wedding flowers were absolutely enchanting. With picture frames, lanterns, mirrors, candles and votives scattered, the flowers from Enchanted Garden looked like part of Maravilla Gardens' landscape.
I loved how Maravilla Gardens was so easy to reach and how prompt they were to answer my never ending questions. The weather was perfect and they made sure our guests were comfortable. When it got cold Erin Boskovish asked us if we would like heaters because she noticed that some guests looked cold. She was considerate and conscious of our spending. We of course said yes. They wanted to make sure our day went smooth. They think of everything!! They recommended vendors and an after party. Although the reception ended at 10PM, with a fairy tale sparkle farewell, the party continued at Safire American Bistro. It was only 3 miles from the Maravilla Gardens. The Marriot Hotel, which most everyone stayed at, was across the parking lot from the after party. Safire stayed open just for us!! We had the private back room with a patio all to ourselves. We ordered 15 stonefire flat breads which went perfect with their delicious cocktails. The bartenders there and the staff were so awesome!! We even had our rehearsal dinner there.
The venue was beautiful from beginning to end and Erin J Saldana Photography was there to capture it all. My wedding party had nothing but great things to say about the team. I felt like a reality star because the team was so slick about getting the right angle. Erin was there every moment that was most important to me. She knew what I wanted and knew what and who I cared about. When I looked at the photographs I was in awe! I am the last of five girls and to see my daddy and I dancing together to Michael Buble's "Daddy's Girl" I melted. I still get teary eyed to see the emotions we went through in that moment. When Travis and I were in the fields with the sun setting behind us and wind letting off a little breeze, time stopped. We forgot Erin and her crew were there. We were taking it all in and Erin captured us enjoying that. In all the photographs our fun and passionate side are exposed. The photo booth was a hit too!! Everyone was having a blast!! Guests took a copy of their photo booth pic and pasted it to our guest book. It was so fun looking at them the next day and reading all the fun comments and beautiful wishes. Erin J Photography was professional and understood our theme and personality. We couldn't have chosen a more talented, attentive, energetic and friendly company to have photograph our wedding day. We loved that we had a team of Erin/ Aaron!!
I wanted something simple, elegant and timeless for my dress. For the bridesmaid dresses, I wanted them to wear a black short dress of their choosing. My bridesmaids and Maid of Honor all have different personalities so I wanted them to feel free to choose something that they felt comfortable and beautiful in. My Maid of Honor wore a black short lace dress which made her stand out.
Enchanted Garden Floral Design was AMAZING!!! And Erin Boskovich from Maravilla Gardens was our Coordinator; Superwoman!! She made everything flow and was so attentive. She made sure we both were happy and had everything we needed. She knew our parents were important to us and that we wanted them to feel special too. She exceeded our expectations!!
Our DJ Aaron Massey from VOX DJ's was AMAZING!! He was very personable, played everything we wanted, understood our personality and wants. He was very attentive to us and made the whole party dance all night.
We wanted our cake to have a simple design with a lace trim in the middle draped with flowers on a black stand and we got more than we ever dreamed of. The cake was ice cream inspired because we both love ice cream. We had layers of cookies-n- cream, lemon raspberry and chocolate and peanut butter cake. Everyone loved it!!!
Command Performance Catering was AMAZING!! The food was so delicious. The jalapeno mac-n-cheese was everyone's favorite along with the almond stuffed date wrapped in bacon. Command Performance truly delivered exceptional food. Right when my husband and I finished walking out of our ceremony we had drinks and appetizers waiting for us and our families. Perfect timing for a celebratory drink right before pictures. Robert, Command Performance Chef, was super attentive and paid attention to detail. He came out to greet us and made sure everything was going the way we wanted it to go. Guest and family members still praise the food. That was exactly what Travis and I wanted; excellent food, music and atmosphere.
Our favors were spice jars filled with Susie Q's Santa Maria Valley Style Seasoning. Travis and I met in Santa Maria so we wanted to spice our guests up with it.
Invitations and dessert labels were just perfect. Jen knew exactly what we were looking for! Not going to lie, it was difficult to choose because there are soo many amazing unique choices. We didn't want traditional and she did an amazing job with black invitations!
Our hair was done by Tony Pineda at Pin Up Girl Boutique. He was so amazing and fast! He came to my hotel and worked his magic.
Makeup was done by Mattie at Meowglam. This team was great and so were the prices. Mattie was so down to earth and one of a kind. She seemed to always care that I was comfortable and pleased with my makeup. She also did my church makeup the week before. Our makeup lasted all night! She even gave us all a personable and customized kit to use throughout the night if we needed to retouch.
