Dreamy Springtime Wedding at the Missouri Military Academy

From Laura Ann Miller Photography...This wedding is full of heartfelt love and the dreamiest of decor! Kristen & James said their ‘I Dos’ in the sweetest little chapel, surrounded by their closest family and friends, plus the prettiest florals. James looked so dapper in his grey suit plus pink tie, and Kristen was absolutely radiant in her ivory dress, with just the right amount of bling. She was surrounded by the loveliest maids in mismatched shades of light pink dresses. I could also go on and on about the florals…but I’ll spare you a few paragraphs…! Don’t get me started on their reception…which was to die for! The space was decorated to perfection with gorgeous spring florals complimented by pops of gold making for such a fun color palette. Plus, they had the cutest champagne bar. Need I say more? LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Also, I have to say one of my favorite moments to capture at weddings is the cake cutting. I know there’s the chance of smudging makeup, icing getting in your hair, and so on….but I just LOVE when couples go for it with a cake smash. It’s so fun, playful, and unexpected…I seriously adore it!! You really know a couple loves to goof off together when they smash some cake in each other’s faces…am I right?! Kristen & James…they went for it! :-)
