From Ben Yew Photography... Chandelle first found me from one of the bridal magazine and and loved the way I capture candid moments with natural lights. She was planning an outdoor farm wedding at Joel's sister farm in Capel, Western Australia with a river running through the 100 acre block with 750 orange trees and to make things better, there is the food truck, tractor, chickens, outdoor fire place, relaxed and casual reception area, scavenger hunt and so many other amazing things that would make her wedding amazing, it was a definite YES from me.
From the Bride... The story of Joel and I began in early high school where Joel was in the year above me. We used to walk home the same way from school, however Joel is very shy so it wasn’t until I managed to get his instant messenger address from a friend that we started walking together. This began a two year friendship where both of us had feelings for each other, but we were both too shy/awkward to act on them. Instead, we both relayed our feelings to our friends until they eventually got fed up and told us about the others affections. Armed with this knowledge, I plucked up the courage to kiss Joel for the first time after he walked me home from a party. After eight wonderful years together Joel surprised me with a marriage proposal while we were on holiday in France visiting a beautiful hilltop village called Bonnieux. We are now married and enjoying every moment of this next chapter of our lives together.
