From Ali Fortunato…Madison and Adam wanted their wedding to feel intimate, comfortable and timeless. They thought of eloping, but when their families caught wind of their plans they decided it was best to include their very closest family members in their celebration. Colorado was the perfect setting for their destination wedding because they were sharing a new place and experience with both families.
The color palette for the ceremony was muted: white, ivory, blush pink and sage green. Nothing distracting, just soft and romantic so that the focus was on the couple and their vows. They chose to add in bolder colors for the reception: pomegranate, deep pink, red and gold accents – which made the two spaces feel different and more like a progressive event. I used timeless flowers and greens such as peonies, garden roses and eucalyptus, but kept it modern by choosing gold statement vessels and sliced pomegranate.
They provided thoughtful decor such as blankets on the chairs and personalized luggage tags to ensure that each guest felt comfortable and special.
